Leawood, KS — Leawood Forest is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Kansas State Cup tournament, set to take place this summer at the prestigious Compass Minerals Soccer Fields. As one of the most anticipated youth and amateur tournaments in the region, the State Cup provides Leawood Forest with a prime opportunity to showcase their new-look squad and renewed ambitions.

After a busy summer transfer window, the club has made several key additions aimed at bolstering both depth and talent across the roster. With a fresh infusion of energy and skill, Leawood Forest is optimistic that this marks a turning point for the team.

"I really believe with our new additions along with the players we've had, that the club is about to take a 180-degree turn," said club owner Brandon Fisher. "We are probably too far behind to compete for top spot in the Select League, but we will definitely have a chance at the State Cup trophy."

The State Cup will serve as a proving ground for the revamped squad, giving them a platform to test their chemistry and resilience against some of the top teams in Kansas. For Leawood Forest supporters, it’s a moment of hope and excitement — a chance to see the club turn potential into performance.

More updates, including match schedules and player highlights, will be shared on the Leawood Forest website and social media pages in the coming weeks.

Let’s go, Forest!
