Despite overcast skies, light rain, and chilly temperatures, the Leawood Forest Football Club tryouts on Sunday proved to be a promising event. Current striker Ben Parkes, alongside manager Abdellatif Boukhenoufa and club owner Brandon Fisher, witnessed a display of skill and determination from aspiring players eager to join the ranks.


One notable figure in attendance was Gambian talent Modou Lamin, who expressed his keen interest in becoming a part of the Leawood Forest squad. Lamin showcased his prowess on the field, leaving a positive impression on the management.


Manager Boukhenoufa, often referred to as "the gaffer," was pleased with the overall performance of the players despite the adverse weather conditions. He spoke highly of the talent on display and sees great potential in shaping the team into championship form.
